These delicious finger sized bars are a sweet milk chocolate covering a milky white chocolate filling. Perfect for kids… and perfect for adults with a really sweet tooth!

I loved giving these to my kids when they were very small… the finger sized bars can be broken up into even smaller squares. One stick could be shared out between a few kids when they were very small, and one stick was enough of a “treat” for a bigger kid, without spoiling dinner.

Merci Chocolates

Assorted Fine Chocolates in individually wrapped finger sized bars that come in different flavors of chocolate; Nuts, coffee, marzipan, dark chocolate and praline. You could also get a fancy shaped box with Merci minis.

As a child, I always felt very sophisticated eating these… but not so sophisticated that I didn’t eat all the “good ones” first. My favorite flavors were praline (sort of a nougat filled bar) and Kaffee-Sahne (a layered bar with Coffee and cream layers…). I love introducing these to Americans, it’s fun to watch them sort through looking for new favorites!

You can get boxes of Merci Chocolates in different sizes, and in different flavors. So if you prefer dark chocolate, you can get the dark box.

I’ve been giving boxes of Merci Chocolates as Teacher gifts for years. The price for a box is reasonable, and it’s a nice “thoughtful gift”.

Made in Lubeck, Germany, Niederegger Marzipan is Almond Paste that is mixed with sugar to sweeten it, then covered with Dark Chocolate. Makes a lovely treat or gift.

My sister has always been the Marzipan fan in our house (I was Nougat)…. and she always found a big bar on her Bunter Teller. Slice the bar to make it last… Eating the whole thing like a regular candy bar is just too rich!!
